/v/ will, somehow, become even worse.
I think it's time to up the file size limit, or at least up the limit on image dumping boards. It's almost impossible to find high quality/resolution images these days that are under 4MB. I often find myself having to link to offsite images. Or worse, compress them to fit the 4MB limit.

Agreed, it's almost 2016, the filesize limit should be at least 6mb.
At least increase the webm limit to be 4mb on all boards, it makes no sense to have it be less than the limit for every other format.

What images are you posting that are larger than 4mb? If you are posting super res stuff then it should be on /hr/.
With the amount of downtime/technical problems 4chan has had recently I don't think putting more stress on the servers/bandwidth is a good idea.

No, because this is more tech related than video games. If I were to make a thread to compare video cards for those interested in video editing, does that mean it doesn't belong on /g/? What if I compared workstation graphics cards? Is that more office related than /g/? No, so why does comparing video cards for those who play vidya make it video game related? Video games may have generals on /vg/ permanently, in between episodes like VNs or years after release of games.
Ongoing shows have historically had generals as well, with speculative discussion during hiatus, and fanart and fanfiction being shared.
But now, mods are militarizing the type of spaz fits they had with MLP causing it to be pushed into /mlp/.
Various generals (Game of Thrones, Steven Universe) have been deleted, and the threat, though not reflected in the rules, is that generals will be deleted and banned.
