Why is /wsr/ such a comfy board? I essentially quit using /g/ and most of the other boards I used to frequent once I discovered it.

You essentially nailed it with your own response. I love it for that reason too. All the "NO SPOONFEEDING!!!!" brats stay away so it's a board where you're encouraged to actually help people. You are actively rewarded for contributing positive posts to the community. It's great. You can even have some interesting discussions because they're still related to the request at hand.
I also like how many people there are blank slates when it comes to anime. It's easy to offer them...

I can't post from my computer anymore. First, I ran into pic related. After switching from HTTPS to HTTP, I was able to get the board to load, but then I kept getting connection error messages. I checked the feedback page and the solution was to turn off Adblock, so I did. I'm still getting connection errors after turning off the rest of my extentions too.
What gives?

Why are legitimate video game threads continually deleted on /v/?
Pic related was deleted despite there being no other Undertale threads up at the time and discussion being rather civil (for /v/ anyway).
Meanwhile, a Brianna Wu twitter thread was allowed to stay up and get a few hundred posts.

There should be a containment board for people to complain about boards they don't go to or cry for more moderation for things that personally offend them. Doing this will drastically improve the discussion had on /qa/ and help us develop better ideas for actually improving this site than turning it into a hurt feelings toilet.
