I was wondering why raids on other sites aren't allowed? It's fun and was a key part of 4chan culture. Now I don't condone raiding between 4chan boards, that's uncivilized. But don't you think it would be fun to raid 8gag? Or reddit? Both those sites are full of uptight cunts and redditors, they could do with some cultural enrichment. And it would bring the boards of 4chan together. It's a nice enjoyable bonding activity.
So Hiro, I ask you, please allow raids again.

Raids were never aloud. Raids just happened. Back in the day threads happened on /b/ and were closed slowly due to to few mods. When moot shut it down people moved to irc to conduct raids and posted the winwar back on /b/. Raids were and never will be allowed, back then the only difference is no one really cared.
Also raids still happened it's just you have to look for them. Currently there are raids launched from /pol/, /v/, /x/, and /ck/. Look

Why does it take so long for new boards to be added to the board index? Trial boards used to be instantly added to the board index but now it takes weeks.

Please consider making /r9k/ a work safe blue board.
The quality of the board has improved slightly since the robot filter was brought back, however more work needs to be done to fix it and make and allow it to serve it's intended purpose, and not just function as another typical random/off-topic board.
Switching the board to blue board will cut back on poor quality posts. There's also really no need to post porn on /r9k/ since there are already plenty of other boards that currently exist for that purpose. The potential new content will also remain unaffected...
