When did /pol/ get so hueg?
Presidential Race. Probably the best one yet.

When it became a successful platform for electronic marketing

Also the refugee crisis
/int/ is sounding a lot like /pol/ because of that
I don't usually come here to throw a hissy fit that I was banned, as long as it's reasonable. Even if it's complete bullshit, I'm okay with it
But this, this is going too far. Some pissed off mod got so butthurt about the NX *possibly* being 900p, that he banned me and presumably everyone else in the thread for no reason, other than someone is speaking bad about his lord and savior Nintendo
Here is the thread (my posts are specifically the one with the smug wojak and smug wojak with a mask)

A T T E N T I O N :
I am unable to shitpost my awful opinions and image macros for two full and entire days. This is an outrage worse than actual human slavery. I have written a letter to my Congressman and you will ALSO be hearing from my VERY Jewish attorney.
As usual, an OP complaining about getting banned is a dumbass.
OP got banned for posting a news article about hardware specs. How is this ban even remotely justified?
This is the only board that should be deleted

No boards should be deleted.
In fact Hiro should make a new containment board just for board deletion requests.

yep bunch of autists
Why is this board so shit? All I see is reddit this reddit that (I know I'm engaging in this shit right now), even the mods seem to be retarded wtf...
Since when 4chan tries to force its users to say or not say a word, or discuss in one way or the other?
This is a symptom of a rotten society, fuck this modern era...
Is English not your first language?

Bullshit

yes once they get a chance to post their meme albums/books the rest of the replies are serious

Oh look, another whining frogposter.
Now that we've cracked down on the 'reddit' problem, I'd like to introduce a new problematic word that has caused much anger in this community: Fag.
People spam this word to the point of it not even making any sense, and you can even see people getting discouraged from it and having them leave our great website forever.
Putting a word filter on the word 'fag' will greatly increase the quality of this board as it contributes nothing to discussion.
>ITT: We give mods suggestions on what the word should...

just fucking kill yourself /q/posting fag
Why not "/pol/ - Politics"?
Politically Incorrect is an old meme they never fixed because that is the board they care about the least.
>>422708
Problem is that almost every other bored called /pol/ has copied that title which gives an excuse for biased moderation.
>>422730

I warned for calling a filmmaker 'reddit' and the post got deleted. Why is it against the rules to use reddit as an epithet? How is it worse than calling something shit or someone a faggot?
Do you feel in charge?

What exactly did the post say?

Those insults actually mean something.
Right now, on /vr/:

maybe the meta shitflinging will die if we get a concrete answer on if/when newer stuff will become /vr/.
>>421272
I think we should adopt a slow "phase in" program.
Lets be honest, if we allowed GBA it wouldn't be an overwhelming shift to the board's culture. Wait out another year or so and let one or two consoles join the board, etc.
If we do it slowly and keep them to generals the board might benefit from the improved traffic without flushing the content currently on the board down the drain.
>>>/vr/2939521
really great thread I definitely don't wish the mods would kill themselves and I don't wish harm upon their family at all
Add a [M] Music tag to >>>/f/ , the board needs it badly. I appreciate a lot music flashes and every single time I want to post one and it isn't a loop I just can't tag it with anything else that isnt [O] Other.
>>420085
This sounds like a really good idea.
>>420101
It is but they don't seem to care that much about /f/.
Lets talk about music
4chan died in 2006.
Help bring the site back to its actual glory.
Seriously all it is right now is reddit tier. You won't accept the truth so you act really edgy by spamming "faggot" and insults to feel less reddit tier.
We need the site back to the old glory, the real glory.
Who's with me!?
In before someone green texts "2006" and pretends to be and oldfag and thinks that's not when it died:
That is when it happened: there is no debate accept it.
I've seen some pretty fucking bad pre-2006 screencaps. I don't know from experience since I only hung out on /c/ back then but if those screencaps are meant to be "the cream of the crop" then I don't have high hopes for the rest of it.
I'm with you, but, unfortunately, it will not go to the "glory days". We need moderation help to do this, and the mods are faggots. Hiro also wants to make this site profitable, so obviously he wants more users, not less users.
Unless you convice Hiro to ban cancer, ban newfags, ban HTTP referrers from Reddit, Tumblr, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook and make frequent CSS hacks, 4chan will not go to "the glory days".
Similar to how ponies and Steven Universe got chased off /co/; TumblrTale should be a bannable offense on /v/
Reasons why
-Shit gameplay
-Shit story
-Toxic lgbt tumblr bullshit
-Toxic fanbase
-Threads devolve into shitposting

Liking undertale is tumblr, you retard.

t. 3 year club redditor
A question for the mods & janitors. Right now, /vr/ is in the middle of a shitposting war between two factions.
One group wants Xbox, PS2, Gamecube and GBA games to be allowed on /vr/, arguing that 15 years is old enough, that these systems can't be discussed on /v/, that "retro games" has an evolving meaning and that /vr/ discussion is getting stale.
The other group wants the rules to remain as they are, arguing that that these consoles have more in common with modern titles than older ones, that it's not their responsibility if /v/ is...

No. You'll just bring all the shitposters from /v/ to the board, and janitors never fucking touch /vr/ to begin with.
Since last October /vr/ has already experienced a downward spiral from what it once was partly because of people just not wanting to accept that GBA/GCN/Xbox/PS2/PSP/DS.
They'll be accepted naturally in time. Stop trying to rush things.
I'm of the former group. I'm too old fashion for /v/, but too new for /vr/.
I just want to talk about video games that aren't so old that they're practically ancient technology, but also aren't the latest DRM-filled commercial and meme games of today.
>>423785
Why does /vr/ have to be a dump for old tech?
Why can't it just be "Early games(ing)".
>4chan was weebs in the past so it belongs to weebs
So America belongs to indians and Australia belongs to abos?

/vr/ isn't getting ignored by mods/janitors, just the ones that do anything don't do anything of value.

Funny. I came here to complain about the same issue, but someone already started a thread.
/vr/'s more lax moderation is nice at times, but the blatantly off-topic stuff is started to get out of hand. I also wish someone would move all the generals over to >>>/vg/ where they belong, except maybe CRT general, which belongs in >>>/g/
Just remember that /vr/ was heavily moderated in the past, and it was shitty as fuck. On-topic threads mysteriously vanished...
