Delete /pol/. It is time for another cleanising.
The newshit edgy reddit kids who have been linked here from r/theredpill actually take it seriously and then spill over to ruin other boards.
Have you noticed how any criticism of /pol/ is met with "hello rebbit"? It's because the board is 90% redditor newfags who think its 'lol xD epic" to accuse other people of being from the website they just came from, like a weird little inside joke
>>427527
Good luck with that extremely unpopular opinion.
>>428175
It was nuked before and moot humiliated the userbase so why wouldn't it happen again?
Deadmau5 is a moderator at SomethingAwful. R*eddit has regular AMAs with content producers, actors, and even the President.
Meanwhile 4chan is obsessed with pretty internet tribalism, interboard hate, and trying to make sure nobody actually uses the site. There are people who unironically believe that the front page being infected with malware is a positive thing because it results in a deader site.
We're the internet equivalent of North Africa.
No, because North America is actually relevant and basically runs the world
>>427282
Well, hopefully things keep changing so that all the sekrit club internet hate machine faggots fuck off to cripplechan or kill themselves. I don't care which.
>>427293
I agree, the best thing that could happen to this site is for it to die completely. Why, just think, if all the users leave, the only ones that stay will be the ones just like me!
Since when did telling someone to "go back 2 reddit" become a bannable offense?
When it transcended factual and actual to memetic cancer. You consider Reddit a boogeyman; a goto thing to say to any post you don't like. That's garbage outside of /b/.
If it were only on one of our trash boards, /b/ and /s4/ or that new one, it wouldn't be a fucking problem.
Any topic/reply that doesn't toe the party line, adhering to the mythical "board culture" THAT IS ALSO NOT AGAINST THE RULES... Why reply to it at all, if you don't like it? Telling that lurker to "back" to a place ge reasonably has never been...

I have an even better idea: Let's remove all catchphrases and memes
I mean nothing gets seriously conveyed by them that cannot be said without memes in a more informative way, and it's not like memes are a part of 4chan or something
>>426872
Because telling them to go back to Red(dit discourages them from making more shit threads and also encourages them to go back to there shit SJW moderated website. You're just mad because we're not letting this place be a fucking free for all and letting millions of new users in and placing nice with them which is what you fucking terrible mods have been tasked to do to try to make this website some money fuck you
Can something be done about all the flat earth threads on /pol/? I count at least three of them up right now on the front page alone. They need to be redirected to /sci/ or something.
nope lol
>>425432
those threads are just another symptom of the tinfoilfag cancer that is killing /pol/
>>425432
/pol/ is a satire board/containment board. It is one of the boards on 4chan where nobody expects serious discussion. If you actually use /pol/ to inform yourself about the world you should probably kill yourself desu
This is the 4chan happenings thread.
Tell us about unusual events going on in your board.
>>418848
/co/ is full of /tv/ shitposting, but that isn't really unusual.
THICK threads need to be banned
I'm sick of seeing THIS shit everywhere
>>418850
Report it
Now before I start, and before he starts samefagging this thread, I am NOT saying I disagree with the purpose of his spamming. I'm all for it and understand why it's done.
With that being said, this overzealous faggot is going too far. He sees himself as some savor of /a/ who fights against off-topic threads and because of this, he's turned into just another shitter who spams threads he doesn't personally like. Literally anything topic that tangents off where people start discussing things on a more personal level is deemed as "blogshit"...

I agree with this poster
>>136866284
What is your opinion on /trash/? Personally, I think it's a fantastic addition and I find myself using it regularly.
>>430373
I don't use it, but I guess it's fine. Any board that I doesn't leak noticeably is a board that I have no complaints against.
There's a few /mlp/ generals I'd like to banish there.
One guy shitposted about furries? Time to call in the furry brigade to defend your honor or whatever. That'll sure teach a lesson to the entire board that ganged up against you within that one guy's shitpost.
*farts*

Care to name a few, Anon?
Should the word reddit be filtered?
If so, what should it be filtered to?

Lets make 4chan great again. First step: we delete /qa/.
>Wahh we need to delete board X
>Wahh people are saying things I don't like
>Make more rules!
>Delete old rules!
>4chan needs to change to fit my needs!
Fuck off 4chan was fine before all of you newfags come here to bitch, and get retarded ass boards to be made and impliment more stupid, pointless rules.
>WAHH SOMEONE SAID I WAS FROM R EDDIT. BAN THESE PEOPLE MY FEELINNNNNGGSS.
i agree but only after we delete /lgbt/

Why are they a full minute on /c/ when /e/ (for instance) is 30 seconds? Given that and the lack of discussion (which seems to actually be discouraged in the mod sticky), there's little incentive to dump in there instead of /a/.
I'd hope they get lowered to encourage people to use it more.
What do you think?
>>430002
>there's little incentive to dump in there instead of /a/.
I don't think it would matter. It seems like /a/ wants to post everything on /a/ even though they have multiple boards they can use. I mean, there's a Japanese language general on it when /jp/ exists.
>>430051
Welcome to /a/ - 2D/Random/Otaku Culture/Japan General
I completely agree. It makes dumping images on /c/ needlessly long and tedious. Another problem that plagues some threads is bumping them as much and as quickly as possible, leading to fast threads filled with crappy, low-quality fanart.
Lets do this
>>429125
>>429126
>>429129
Anyone know how I can fix this?
>>428026
sorry i don't reply to robots
nice try tho
>>428026
Is it just /m/?
Try resetting your router.
Or
buy a 4chan pass
>>428029
>Is it just /m/?
Yes
>Try resetting your router.
Tried before cming here. Did nothing.
>Or
buy a 4chan pass
Not an option.
Post quality discussion form your homeboard.
>>418070
Here's your reply.
>>418071
But I want quality discussion ;'(
Why are people so averse to buying passes in lieu of solving monkey puzzles?
It's almost like you hate capitalism.
>paying to shitpost
>>429530
What's wrong with hating capitalism?
I don't believe the product is worth the money being asked so I don't buy it
If anything that makes me more of a capitalist than you?
>Go back 2 Reddit
Error: our system thinks your post is spam, please reformat and try again.
>Go back to <any other site or 4chan board>
Post Successful!
Yeah. They want to stop shitposting. Right.
Just burn /qa/. It's as much a shithole as /q/ was.
>>429469
So you made this thread because you're mad that you can't tell people to go back to ribbit?
It's because talking about reddit is advertising a competing website
Now go back to >>>/pol/ you cringeworthy dick-inhaling autistic microcephalic fatfuck
