>4chan is for shitposting and leddit is for actual discussions
Why don't posters get more flak for having "tumblr_xxxxxxxx" or "image.jpg" in their filename? It's such an obvious tell that the poster in question is a dipshit newfag crossposter yet no one ever brings it up.
>>465608
Stop using buzzwords you don't understand.
Lurk moar.
Perhaps because intelligent people realize how easy it is to change the filename just to trigger you. I've done it myself.
>no one ever brings it up
You're fucking retarded anyway.
Newfag spotted
If you don't have a a fitting image at hand or aren't on your pc or whatever, you turn on google and post the first image with the url.
Hiroyuki,
Please ask the mod team to consider bringing back visible sage. Sage was made invisible two and a half years ago by moot, citing the following:
>sage is now invisible. sage is not a downvote, and this misconception has persisted for far too long. sage replies will continue to function as they have in the past, but will no longer be displayed in the e-mail field.
I would contend that the solution to ignorance of a feature is not to make it invisible. I think it mostly contributes to is a situation where many people do...

Few people remember to use it because most of them don't have any reason to use it in the first place. If you're the kind of person who would use sage properly, you already know about sage. That's why visible sage won't be coming back.

wait is this a serious thread? I thought I typed in s4s by accident lol.
I can't believe this is a serious thread.
>>465547
When I first got here the way I learned about sage wasn't by reading the FAQ. There are a lot of posters out there with their heart in the right place who just never had anyone to tell them.
Do mods or Hiro even go to this board anymore?
>>465431
We have a thread going RIGHT NOW where a developer is answering questions. Maybe read shit before you create another shit thread, you shitty piece of shit.
>>465445
Did I say developer, anon?
>>465450
DEVELOPERS ARE MODS, YOU DICKSUCKER. SUCK MY DICK.
Does anyone know the source of that one file on /f/ that starts off with a woman saying something while showing these images of furry stuff, hentai and guro while there was wierd music playing in the background? This is the best way to describe what the flash was about, please tell me the source.
>>465502
Sorry. I meant /r/. Reflex. It's usually a worksafe request with /qa/ threads.

I haven't seen any of these exact threads lately (maybe they're banned?), but the problem persists. I know /b/ has always been shit, but it's never been this bad, and it seems to be because these dipshits come to /b/ for porn, choke out the board with dumb porn threads, post autistic shit in those threads ("I fapped to her once"), then fag up the rest of the board with YLYL threads and the like.
I'd like the days where we expected something of /b/ to come back, when we banned stupid shit like this.
>>465262
i don't know how to tell you this, but not all the shitposters are underage. Some shitposters are adults who just like pissing people off with useless shit.
>>465266
I've seen adult shitposters. They at least use good grammar and spelling and don't act like twelve year old boys.
>I'd like the days where we expected something of /b/ to come back
Give up.
moot tried this in 2008, and he miserably failed.
/b/ is dead since late 2011. Nowadays only underages and normalfags browse it.

4chan is not funny anymore ~ why?
What happened, what have you guys been doing over the last 2yrs (I have been in a psch ward)
Looks like this place has regressed, back in time and everyone is 14 again.... what have I missed??

go ask /b/ this shit if you're actually serious
>>465168
We're getting old, anon. Every now and then I swear off this place, hoping it will be for good. Maybe next time..
Australia took the shitposting championship. Moot sold 4chan to a jap. We are full on Trump whom none can stump. We are waiting for nuclear annihilation.
>Here's your {you}
Can someone explain this to me? Google failed
it's another form of 'nice bait faggot'
move along newfig
Old /jp/ meme.
It's a way of showing that the poster is trying to bait the thread by responding to his own posts. Trolls samefag their own threads to rouse up more replies. It's like saying 0/10 to a troll post.
Is there an actually good reason for threads to have an image limit?
If a thread hits image limit without hitting bump limit, people just make a new thread anyway. All it does is disrupt threads where people post lots of images, or kill conversation in threads which are beyond bump limit but not yet on Page 1*. It seems like a vestige of when people only had 400kB of RAM and couldn't handle more than 150 memes at once.
Is there an actually good reason for threads to not have an image limit?
BTFO
Please ban any and all variations of "What are some game where I can [Insert Off-Topic Bullshit Here]" threads on /v. They are almost always about non-video game bullshit like the current flavor of the month film, political situation, album, anime, forced meme, or whatever other banal shit that they could be talking about on the proper board but for some reason feel a burning desire to talk about it with the average video game playing faggot retard. Fucking hell, this has been going on for years and no one has ended this terrible shit. I beg you, Hiro, please rectify...

I feel your pain.
Sometimes I've told those posters to fuck off to >>>/wsr/ since that's technically where vidya request threads are supposed to go.
It really shows the immaturity of the posters on that board.
They need to fucking auto-redirect people to the catalog. I swear to god people still browse the old way, given how whenever a news article that's shitpost worthy appears, 10 or more threads about the same thing pop up
>>465038
>the average video game playing faggot retard
Yeah, that about sums it up.
Why does /co/(a board for cartoons and comics) get a sticky yet /tv/ gets spammed to shit?
hiroshima, just make the /cape/ board
rules: discussion about any MOVIE based on a COMIC BOOK

it's unreal
This is the path you chose, /tv/.
>>465006
stickies on /tv/ are reserved for deaths, memes and paid content
So, while submiting an issue with IP Range Ban in Germany, I stumbled across this nice site.
Now I'm wondering why there isn't anything since september last year. Can't be cause Hiro took over, since mods and devs were mostly posting. Or did something happen?
>>464839
They realized nobody was actually forcing them to do it so they stopped bothering. I imagine it was only two people to begin with. Hiro's return is actually the best chance we have of them being encouraged to use it.
>>464842
Well, seeing as there's no alternative to optimism, that's the best thing we can do. Personally I doubt even the mods still have this feature in mind, let alone Hiro.
what do you think they should have posted since then? the feedback page isn't the blotter or news page.
