I feel the same way on the source issue, unfortunately the most you can do on the matter is to think about it and debate it with others.
I have been longing for a board that takes all the good out of /b/ and also serves as a containment board for memers on various boards.
The only real home for things like YLYL, rage, cringe, et cetera, is /b/, and it is unfortunately buried in shit. That's why we need a random board that still enforces worksafe and non-spam posts, perhaps more centered on general 4chan and internet culture.
