Wouldn't it just make the population of one of the most popular boards on the site get pissed off? Wouldn't it just incite them to occupy your home boards with Trump, rage, and Natsoc threads?
It seems much more benificial to just deal with the occasional leaks as you would any other off topic post instead of removing the wall that /pol/ provides as a separation between /pol/ and the rest of 4chan.

I don't know, but I can tell you this. My posts that are genuine replies rarely get responses (or at best, get some dumb shitpost responses) while the bullshit I don't believe always gets tons of responses.

I know /qa/ isn't exactly a /meta/ board, but the declining quality of /pol/ needs to be addressed somewhere. This isn't a complaint about moderation so much as it is about /pol/'s userbase and its tolerance towards this shit.

I agree, but its mostly because right winged people want a right wing safe space to shitpost. Its sad, its pathetic, but most boards on 4chan are liberal, most newsites are liberal, most right-wing forums are too radical for early twenties, late teens people who just want to have fun, and not be berated for their worldview. How to fix this problem? I don't know. Probably up and leaving to another board.

It has IDs and flags, which keeps shitposting to a minimum. You can be sure that if someone says something, either they truly mean it, or are going whole hog in trolling you. There's no inbetween, and there's no samefagging. It's much more obvious how many people believe (or claim to believe) some specific thing or another when a thread gets heated.
There's a lot of genuinely useful information to be found there....

Site has gone down the drain and keeps going, why can't we just ban phoneposters. They cause so much shit, they're all underage and/or don't fit in with the site's culture. They think this is facebook or reddit or anywhere else where you need an account to post.
