I know that the extreme left loves non-whites right now, but there is undoubtedly growing anti-Islamic sentiment among centrists. I'd have thought that these people who are seeing their neighbourhoods change would be swayed to vote against Sadiq.

Outside of the cities, England is mostly white.
It's because they're all concentrated into places like London that they get so much media attention.
And British TV shows usually have about the same amount of black/asian/arab people as whites, sometimes even more.
This leads younger folks to believe there are so much less whites left in our country than there actually are, and they've been taught to be proud of that.
