Physical Training:
Focus on endurance and strength – fuck aesthetics it is meaningless and should be left for male model faggots
Take up Krav Maga or Systema – a hand-to-hand combat art that is truly effective. Stay away from Asian martial arts they are impractical.
Learn how to fight with a knife. Prison tactics are best.
Mental Training:
Study the Art of War (Sun Tzu) and various documents on guerrilla warfare (including urban warfare)
The wars to come will be mobile – there will be no frontline, trenches or foxholes. Everything will be the frontline.
Preparation:
Stock up on ammunition, canned foods, bottled water, medication and especially antibiotics.
Find like-minded men and women (I guess) and train together but keep it clandestine. You don’t want to attract attention.
Gain survivalist skills/training, weapons training, navigation skills (especially night navigation)
Study infantry tactics (fire teams, assault teams, scout teams). Study triage.
Learn how to make explosives, even the most rudimentary will suffice.
Assign roles within your group.
Learn how to use radio communications. Keep the Art of War on your person (it is invaluable).
Numerical advantage doesn’t equate to victory, it is merely an advantage. Strategy is paramount. Be merciless in the coming conflicts. Take no prisoners. Win, prevail and survive.
Never give up hope, defeat begins with a defeatist attitude.

You're right, there won't be any frontlines.
Any city/town/village/community that wish to survive needs to prepare. Every one must be armed and there must be some kind of QRF (quick reaction force) and there must be some kind of communication system set up. The QRF should consist of people with heavier weapons, better training. If you got nothing else just put MG's on pick up trucks and cars and maybe niggerrig some armor onto it. A few bathroom tiles taped together with duct tape will stop a 7.62x39 quite easily (test it) and having your drive not getting shot is a huge pro.
People will still need to work to get food so you have to get together with the community and distribute the labor. Those who can't/don't want to fight tills the field, makes food, washes clothes, tends to the wounded so that the people that got to fight can focus focus on small units tactics and other military related things.
