With SOS homophobia, the two organisation realised from March 31st to May 10th 2016 "the first mass testing of social medias, signaling 586 racist, antisemitic, negationnist, homophobic, terrorism apology and crimes against humanity apology contents."Only 4% have been deleted on Twitter, 7% on Youtube and 34% on Facebook" they pretend.

These numbers present Twitter as the dunce: on the 205 hateful contents that have been reported, only 8 were deleted. Youtube does only a bit better: on the 225 hateful contents reported, 16 were deleted, "a demonstrating score letting see the disinterest from the host toward french laws and their own general terms and conditions".
Facebook deleted a third of the reported content, 53 on 156. A result not satisfying for the assocations which consider them "dubious since Facebook enforce rigorous rules toward pornography. It raises questions on the consistency between Community standards, based on the societal american vision, and the french society with its law system".
UEJF and SOS Racisme "will sue the three platforms to understand why they don't fullfil their obligations planned by the article 6 in the law for trust in numeric economy from June 21st 2004, which forces the hosts to delete in a reasonnable timeframe any illegal content and to report them to the Law Courts" announced the two organisations.
In their press release, the associations pointed the opacity and contradictions in the moderation process. "The mystery around moderator teams operation prevents any serious progress in the decrease of racist and antisemitic posts", complain Scha Reingewirtz, UEJF president.
For Dominique Sopo, SOS Racisme leader, "these platform seems to be more shocked, immediatly censored, than by hate speech toward individuals or groups. Our legal action aim to enforce a law that they must fully submit to."
The study, which must be presented Sunday in Paris during the second edition of the Meeting againt hate on internet, was realized from march 22nd to may 10th, the associations operated reports using platform's protocoles.
