That's why you have to try your best to show them the truth. Most will just ignore anything that might show them the truth though and dismiss it without ever even looking under the assumption that you are trying to show them racist propaganda because it goes against the mainstream.
They are comfortable in the fantasy that everyone is lovely and can fit in peacefully and anyone who says differently is the bad guy.

We shouldn't underestimate that those who want to work in media professions usually don't have the right stuff for it in the first place. They're dumb tools. No personal integrity, no scientific methods as a guideline for approaching objective truth or critical thinking. Just talk to your friends, families and coworkers and tell them things that counter the common belief.
Get them to start questioning things and do their own research. You don't want to have to teach people how to think, you want people to think for themselves.
Also, one thing I like to do is always be the opposition to whatever your friends are expressing. Even if it's something you agree with, debate them on it. Basically shitpost irl..
You want people to research for themselves and come to the right conclusions the more they start to look into things to debate you or debunk you for disagreeing with them the closer they come to the truth.

The funny thing to me is I'm dead serious most of the time, but because I present ideas to the most extreme and offensive degree they let it slide.
