I Have been considering getting rid of my smart phone all together and just having a basic flip phone instead. That's generalized. Quite frequently when I'm working with college kids selling them shit there's usually a 50/50 chance that we'll end up talking for a bit and getting to know each other. In that 50, there's probably a 25% chance we'll talk afterwards when im not working. In my experience, it's the older generations who don't talk to anyone and just want to get their shit and get out.

Moved to about as rural as you can get for my wife's tiny college a year ago.
There are towns where most people never got computers or Internet connections, but they all have cell phones and constantly check their Facebook accounts.
