To the /pol/lacks of English-speaking nations (in particular, Murrica and Leafnation),

(pic unrelated)

Before beginning, I would like to clarify a few things to our lesser educated cucks:
1. > muh communism is dead, we state capitalist economy and consumerist society now.
2. I am a bona fide native chink, but I did college in the States and I’m not of those nouvelle rich chinks in American universities that flaunt their richness like some smug asshole.
3. > muh 50 cent party is a dead meme.
4. 你要老子证明我不是外国银?这不得了吗,只有正儿八经的中国人才会酱紫玩梗2333
>>
Alright.

I would like to formally apologize for assisting in accelerating the diaspora of well off Chinese students. In other words, I want to apologize for sending underqualified students overseas for undergrad studies.

I myself graduated from a decent private university in the States quite a while ago. However, I fell for the liberal arts meme and decided to go into the education business back home in China. Ever since ’08, I’ve sent off class after class of Chinese students to many Western countries, focusing on the United States in particular. From Harvard to your local community college, the number of applications that I have assisted in by now must be in the thousands. All of these applications share one detail; they’re far from the truth.

What I do for my day job is short of outright handing out SAT answers; I aid students make bullshit application profiles and write their essays as well. You can’t imagine how selfish the rough drafts of these kids can be, literally line after line of egoist supremacy taught by our soulless education system. To quote my former colleague, “this is where you come in with your magic touch.” I edit all that shit, all that baseless bragging and I make decent looking applications from my premade template. Applying for enigeering at CMU? Let’s make up some fancy project that you “””””made”””” and some introspective circlejerking to complement that. Looking to fall for the liberals art meme like I did in the Ivy Leagues? Sure. Let’s refer to useless baguette philosophers like Sartre or Foucault or Derrida or >le cogito to make your essay sound smart.
>>
Likewise, their Common App activity lists are manipulated by me as well. The lack of meaningful activities these kids have forced me to refer to my premade template to create a decent list. Trust me, if one of you anons do college admissions for one school and see this:

Volunteer teaching in Sri Lanka, Junior Summer Break
First place, National Physics Bowl
Sino-Japan Youth Conference of 20XX participant

That’s definitely my work. Probably my forgery signature, one could argue.

And these privileged shits get into good schools most of the time, schools that they don’t deserve to get into. One particular student, let’s call him Wang, was one of the most academically weak students I have met. His parents got him into his fancy key high schools, his teachers fed him the answer to last November’s SAT multiple choice answers and his girlfriend helps him with his daily homework while he goes off to internet cafebars to play DOTA and shit. Our team managed to pull off an acceptance letter from Wake Forest University with his dismal GPA and 1800’s SAT (I can’t recall the exact numbers.) How? As per the request of the client, we made him a “out of the closet” student. “yadda yadda I’m gay and I’m oppressed by our commie gov. I even made a LGBT club at school! ” >muh diversity, >muh oppression, you know how it works. He get elevated from Asian to “oppressed” and he gets into a Top 30 University just like that. He pays cold hard cash but I can’t help to think off killing this virtual dindu nuffin just out of spite.
>>
Although there are rare cases of genuinely talented students in my service that keeps me barely motivated to do my job, the vast majority of students are willing to weasel their ways into bullshit special snowflake tiers to overcome the Asian admissions glass ceiling. A good third of them drop out or get expelled in college, but our company only cares about the fancy schools they get into. “Only two Ivy leagues and one UC Berkeley this year?! Someone’s getting their pay cut.” Yeah, it’s this kind of shit.

I hate my job, but it makes decent cash.

I hope to save enough money to afford getting that PhD in the near future but I just really wanted to get this off my chest.

Have a good afternoon /pol/.

tl;dr I help fellow Chinks get into fancy N.America schools. Sorry.

i'm confused, are you offering these services pro bono or are you asking for money to help people with their homework? shouldn't you be gold farming on WOW?

Sorry for sending off three kids to UToronto and one to McGill this year.

I mainly teach English and History to high school students at a test prep academy but we found college admissions "help" as well.

a chinese PhD isn't worth shit in countries that matter. they all know its just a copy + paste job.
>>
>>73866456
Well, I'm thinking of going to the States again. Chinese PhD are worth shit and Hong Kong PhDs outside of 港大 aren't worth much either.

Not a HK人. Im a brit. But yeah good on you for breaking the chinese conditioning. I go to Zhuhai quite often and oh man is the surrounding area full of idiotic nongs.

Yes, I pay 20 USD just to post a few times a year on a Malaysian cave painting board. We can view 4chan just, it's the Google CAPTCHA that prevents from shitposting without paying shekels to JapMoot.

Chinese are way better than every other demographic of foreigners at my Uni. quiet, reserved, don't demand a special room to pray to Allah. my only knock on Chinese students is they cheat.
>>
China no one is upset that you are sending your people here for an education, many stay here and contribute to our economy. We are upset that you guys have a policy have turning a blind eye to Chinese companies stealing trade secrets from American companies. It is outright theft, it is unjust, and it is going unpunished. You guys had way too many kids and now the world is being dragged down to support them all. I wish Japan just stayed on their side of the world and kept you all in the chains you deserve.

Yes, you could argue that. A guy's gotta make money what with our cooling economy. Not proud of it, but it's too late for me to shift industries when the overseas education business is still good for at least five more years.
>>73867129
No, is it a show?
>>73867187
I only do undergrad so I can't confirm 100%. The rumors, however, do have some merit. Other companies that do graduate "assistance" have talks of retrieving data and whatnot.
>>73866973
We're all sorts of cancer but not commie. No, the communist spirit died with Mao and his cronies. We are a self-proclaim socialist state that doesn't even get the Scandinavian perks of universal healthcare and all those other nanny state perks. Our lives are pestered with bourgeoisie ideology and consumerist media. Hell, fucking leafs are more socialists than we are.

We're a national-level business, servicing students around the Shanghai metropolitan area but we welcome all sorts of students from around China. No foreign-party teachers, but we get by well enough without their help. Of course, we can't compete with top tier Xindongfang or Xinhangdao, but we're at least a step from your homegrown local test prep that hires shitty English majors from local universities. The majority of the team I work with all have at least a foreign bachelor's degree in something.
>>
I just graduated from UC Berkeley, so I'm reflecting on all the Chinese students I knew there.

Yeah, I guess maybe the Chinese students really didn't seem that impressive.

I don't know, maybe all this cheating actually cancels out with how Affirmative Action discriminates against Asians.

So I know you deal with lots of cheaters, but how common is it for a student from China to be a cheater? To lie like this?

Anyway, you chinks have your problems. But you're okay in my book. I consider you human, unlike Blacks or Hispanics. But I do wish you would stay in your own countries.
>>
>>73866078
>state capitalist economy
might as well be commies
>>
>>73867920
everyone lies in china. everyone cheats in china. everyone is scamming one another. corruption is rampant at every level. seriously the scamming and lying is on a scale that you almost cant comprehend. from official government figures to the nong at the corner store, everything is lies.
>>
How much of the UC system do you think is overrun with these scum tier chinks? Most of the UC have enormous Asian populations, Chinese being the majority.
>>
>>73867920
I deal with students from the ultra-prosperous coastal region of Shanghai so students from elite families are my main clients. I can't vouch for the entire student body of this side of China but at least with the students I deal with, the majority of them have been conditioned to cheat and lie from freshman to graduation in order to get into the best USNews ranking schools they can get into.
Still, as I've mentioned, there are some great students that truly have potential and I wouldn't mind working for them even if it's pro bono. The majority of them, however, make me question why the fuck I got that degree in History from Penn State.

So this job has pretty much made you the most cynical in the PRC huh?

We have special manners of dealing with UC applicants. The saying goes that Chinese overseas students can be divided into two groups, ones going to UC and ones that aren't. We manage to get ahold of former American admissions officers and get their input so we can try our luck at shoving as many students as we can into the UC system. Personally, I'm not a big fan of sending off students off to UC schools outside of Berkeley and UCLA but our company wants to churn out as many UC offers as we can. Usually, students have safety schools like Davis, Irvine and Santa Barbara to fall on. One particular kid gave up on a good opportunity at UNC Chapel Hall and opted for UC Santa Cruz because she feared Chinese companies back home only recognized the UC schools and Ivy League-tier privates. From what I've heard, said student is washing dishes at a local restaurant for a living right now.
>>73868043
Mostly true.
However, even the most flagrant lies are based on some truth...

This is because the vast majority of Chinese people have next to no capacity for critical thinking or independent thought. It literally never occurred to her to do her own research. To ask really? or why?

To think China will overtake the United States in any reasonable capacity is laughable and this right here is at the core of why that is.

I don't like what you're doing at all. But atleast i'm glad the majority of those that do not belong get what they deserve down the road.

*Hill, my bad.

I wholeheartedly agree. She had brilliant grades on paper but she screwed up her UC application and got dealt some bad cards. Out of UNC, UVA, Wisconsin, Illinois and Penn State she chose Santa Cruz. JUST.
The high school curriculum is taught to ensure the utter obedience of the public herd through inane homework and skyhigh demands (aka conditioning).
She couldn't make one decision without consulting one of our teachers. It wasn't her English proficiency that stopped her, it was her fear of making a single decision without someone holding her hand.

Lived in China for two years and I feel the same way. You need vision and imagination to shape the future. It's sorely lacking in PRC.

I'm about to go to a Chinese university to study Chinese for a year. Any advice for getting used to Chinese culture?
>>
>>73869181
Depends on which city you're going to. Beijing/Shanghai/Guangzhou/Wuhan? Or some second-tier university city?
>>
>>73869181
You can either stick with the expats and drink cheap beer while bitching about how China is different/sucks or you can get involved in all the cultural events and enjoy yourself. Moon Festival, Dragon Boat racing etc. Find a nice Chinese friend or two and get in to everything you can.

You'll be up to your eyeballs in pussy as long as you're not short.

1) muh war torn country (even though we were chilling it in Swiss Luzern at the time)
2) muh muslim (even though my parents are both Catholics)
3) having my friends in various foreign non-government organizations list me as participant in their projects: muh animal rights workshop, environmental protection seminar and the like

Xi'an. It's just an exchange program for language study. My school's Mandarin program is tiny so I figured if I wanted to actually speak well that I'd need to go to China. I'm also not paying for living expenses or anything so it was a rather good deal.
