>Presumed Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump broke with party lines Wednesday, saying he isn’t opposed to raising the minimum wage.

Republicans have been adamantly opposed to raising the minimum wage because of the unintended economic consequences it might cause. Trump said during a CNN interview with Wolf Blitzer that he is open to raising the minimum wage so long as it doesn’t hurt competition.
