I'll bite. The issues are that the policy makers, both government and private sector, are trying to maintain a hold over their current power. They see globalism as a means of generating massive profits for themselves and their peers, while taking more power and money from the rest of the populace.
The rest of the populace, especially those who haven't been "educated" sufficiently, are beginning to realize that this globalism is not benefiting them in any way and has simply eroded their worth, freedoms, and culture. Also, looking at a district by district voting patterns in Trump's nomination shows the same pattern; the closer the white voter is to the other, the more likely that the voter votes Trump. Our little microcosm of a town is about to experience what should teach them a harsh lesson but they'll be too stupid to understand what happened.
For years, there was only one elementary school in our small town. Standards were steadily decreasing and things weren't looking good. 2 years ago, an independent party opened up a uniform-required charter school. They are much smaller and have few resources but what little they have they make efficient use of.
Early on, parents weren't too enthusiastic about the requirements of attending. 2 years later they are dramatically outperforming the public school in terms of student performance and the public elementary school is looking at a crisis of low standards, and people are afraid of the carpet getting ripped out from beneath it.
Who does everyone blame? The elementary school. What's their solution? Expand the charter school program and bring all the retards dragging down the performance standards of the public school to the newer, "privileged" one because they must be doing something right.
Little do they know that the results are predictable. The public school's performance standards fell through the floor because all of the parents intelligent enough to take initiative in the quality of their children's education worked together instead of treating it like a free babysitter.
And the charter school is doomed to the same fate that the public school has experienced.

I grew up in Chicago and every teacher I ever had was some sort of Marxist, or at the very least a leftist. I used to be a Bernie supporter too, until Bernie lost the Florida primary vote by a landslide, I lost hope and weighed my other options.
Here's my backstory

Now I'm EXTREMELY middle-of-the-ground moderate, in just the span of a few months, although the process was slowly developing in the last year almost.
While I value the idea of Universal Healthcare coverage, all other policies Bernie supports takes away from an American's ability to progress up monetary barriers, because they would increase taxes dramatically across the board. Not to mention free college would not only crush my wallet, but completely devalue my degree and all the money I put into it.
Aside from that, there are a few underlying factors I feel goes unheard when justifying a Trump presidency.
The presidency is not just about ideas, but presentation. In fact, I'd argue, presentation is the most important factor. Without this, not a single person across-the-board would push for said ideas. Not to mention, the "presentation" aspect influences the social landscape of America (and how foreigners perceive us). The Democrat's weakness in this case is that they push on forth with their limp-wristed, anti-nationalist, anti-identity, Social Justice culture which divides us up more than it unites us as a people.
The second is the fact that the US is in desperate need of political change.

So I ask, giving the open contempt the left shows from them, why there is this exasperation as to why this demographic is supporting Trump instead of one of the "correct" candidates?
