There are four males and four females.
We have one male teacher who's paid $50k, and 3 male scientists who make $120k.
On the other hand we have 3 female teachers, each paid $60k, and one female scientist paid $130k.
The women are making on average $78k, while men are making $103k on average. But when you compare apples to apples, women are better off.

I'm not saying that women don't get discriminated against to some degree, but you can never control for that minute and extremely subtle level of discrimination. Assuming men are promoted more because they're men and not because they're better workers, it's on such an individual basis you can never correct for it. So even if the feminists are right it's something they can't solve.

The reason women are paid less for acting is because there's less demand for them. Famous actors are hired because they generate more revenue for the movie. The bigger star you are the more you get paid and the more money you are going to make for the movie.
Brad Pitt doesn't get paid millions of dollars just because he has a penis or because it's such a hard job. He gets paid that much because millions of people are going to watch the movie because he is in it.
Jennifer Lawrence is a terrible actor. She's not good looking, she isn't a good actor, she isn't all that famous either outside of staring in Hunger Games and taking pictures of her tits.
