It is a valid argument, because in East Prussia were ethnic Germans being genocided by Poland who now owned the land, which was unrightfully given to Poland by the Treaty of Versailles, which was mostly forced into play by Brtain and France.
After Hitler liberated Austria and Czech, the surviving East Prussians were begging Hitler to help them the way he helped everyone else. But of course, Britain saw that this would invalidate its treaty, and render its demands on the world impotent, so Britain told Hitler "don't do it, ignore their cries, or I war you".
