Because applying this generalization to them it would mean that leftists never went through bullying or hardship and if that is the case, meaning they are extremely priviliged (they mostly are), why do they think their views are the best option when dealing with the problems of the less priviliged, a live they have never experienced?
By their logic, it would mean that by being bullied and going through hardship (maybe raised by a single mom), you might be part of a minority and why do they not care about your point of view?
