Secularist military attempted a coup on an Islamic leader attempting a dictatorship. Coup failed. Now Turkey will be a New Pakistan. Along with this their government wants war with the USA.

Erdogan staged a coup to give him an excuse to cleanse the military/government of any dissent.

NO, it was Islamist Gulenists faction. Send him back to face justice

Morons believe this. Yeah sure, 300+ high ranking military members would like to fuck up their own careers, risk their family and accept lifelong prison and possibly rope if law changes for high treason, for a show plan of Erdogan. It WAS a real coup, Gulenists learned they would be detained the next day so they organized a quick coup plan and hoped secular elements of military would support them. They had like 5000 untrained 20 year old conscripts, who thought they are on a night training session and some helis and tanks, a few f16s. Of course bulk of the military told them to go fuck themselves and rejected them. 1st army commander alerted Erdogan and protected him, their plan collapsed after the attempt on Erdogan failed.

Did you even read what I wrote? Government didn't get intel about a coup until it is too late. Gulenists would be detained in a police operation but they learned about it and acted a coup.

Why would they detain gulenists.

Nice propaganga Hakan.

Did Erdogan davetime you to tell you that?
>>
>>81443772
Fettullah Gulen is a religious figure with an agenda, he wanted to gain power in government and since last 40 years he planted his students in a covert fashion in law, police and military. He was friendly with Erdogan against secularists at first, but they fell apart because Gulen wanted ever more and Erdogan became more and more suspicious of his motives. Erdogan believes he should be the only ruling figure as the elected and Gulen is trying to undermine him.

>>81444258
Send Gulen back, Bane.
>>
>>81443772
>>81444333
cont: Gulen organized a court campaign against Erdogan with his supporters after their fallout based on Erdogan government is corrupt and it was open battle between them after that.

As a result from this Erdogan will become 10x stronger, it's pretty obvious he planned all this since he's the only one benefiting from it

>>81444333
Would have preemptively getting rid of gulenists by weeding them out been met with resistance? Would it result in half measures being taken?

Now consider letting a half-assed doomed-to-fail coup happen. Something you know all the ins-and-outs of, but are not responsible for. Will weeding out gulenists be met with resistance now?
No. You go straight gung-ho on them now and nobody will dare to say anything about it.

This kind of manipulation isn't a new invention.

>Would have preemptively getting rid of gulenists
They were covert and acted like secularists the entire time since they were students, they drunk alcohol and not prayed. Nobody really believed there are crypto-Islamists in the military since Kemalism is deeply rooted there. Their numbers might have been more than Erdogan initially thought. Some high ranking Gulenists have been removed from law and police and there wasn't much resistance. The coup attempt was desperate last ditch act, if it was known before rest of the military would be ordered to prevent it. Coup started with Gulenists killing body guards of Chief of the General Staff , taking him hostage and forced him to sign with them but he refused.

>Now consider letting a half-assed doomed-to-fail coup happen
Erdogan barely escaped the capture attempt on him.

You can speculate all day and year, it is also a not new invention.

Ill repeat it here for the fifth time and if it doesn't catch on now then people here are retarded and blinded by shills.

THERE IS CIVIL WAR IN THE LEADERSHIP OF AMERICA'S MILITARY. THE CIA vs. THE PENTAGON. Stop thinking about Russia and Erdogan and whatever the fuck else. This coup was horseshit from the beginning. Any coup where the leader isn't arrested immediately is a false flag. This rift between the military and civilian bureaucrats started with EGYPT in 2011. THERE IS A REASON PETRAEUS WAS BOOTED FROM THE CIA. THERE IS A REASON OBAMA HAS RUN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FOREIGN POLICY POST CLINTON. Start connecting the dots and you will see that Clinton grossly overstepped her power when she was Secretary of State. She resigned for more then getting ready to run for president. Stop being distracted by false news stories.

Read the blumenthal email to clinton about Petraeus.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/ct-syria-militias-us-cia-islamic-state-20160326-story.html

THere have been SF embedded and fighting with SDF in syria for awhile now. SDF is pentagon sponsored kurdish Militia.
>>
>>81446546
Ive posted similar info in a few threads and only have gotten a few responses. Can't elaborate BUt Trump is with the Pentagon and CLinton is with the CIA.

CLinton presidency equals Turkey a SHARIA islamic ISIS safe haven. Trump presidency equals Fractured Turkey kurdish state and possible alliance with russia and syria.

And now he's being used as a convenient scapegoat fir Erdogan to seize even more power.

Tell me, snce when does the President if Turkey wield power? Wasn't it just a figurehead position? Kind of a retirement plan for Prime Ministers?

Why are even talking about Erdogan if he us just the President?

Answer this simple question :^)

>now he's being used as a convenient scapegoat fir Erdogan to seize even more power.
There is no doubt Erdogan will get more power. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

>when does the President if Turkey wield power
Since he got elected by public. Before Erdogan, presidents were chosen by grand assembly. Erdogan thinks getting elected naturally puts him in a place of power
>>
>>81446538
Yes he is in exil, he used to be allied with Erdogan, but they got in power struggle and he lost, apparently he is a CIA asset, but I haven't read anything far into it, so I can't say if there is truth to it or people are talking out of their ass here, sounds like he might be.

This exchange is interesting to me tough

Erdogan said that a friendly nation would extradite someone like Gülen and a nation that wouldn't do this would obviously not be friendly, then you have Kerry, while being in Moscow for meeting, dunno if that has something to do with anything either, answering with "we might extradite him if you give us proof he is behind the coup attempt, then turkey goes with "if you don't give us Gülen, we have to assume you played a role in the coup and Kerry answers with "Public allegations or insinuations about any US participation in the failed coup attempt are completely wrong and harmful to our bilateral relations, later Turkeys foreign minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu admits he did not officially ask for Gülen to be handed over, then they shut down the power in Incirlik.

I think they either are not yet ready to present any convincing proof or they have none or any convincing proof they have would also proof they they knew about the coup-attempt in advance. Something is fishy about all of this

We are talking about minutes and hours here!

From friday night till now, not even two whole days, Erdo has been firced to seize back control and thwart this coup.

He succeeded so far by calling on his thugs via facetime thanks to his buddy's news network, CNN turk, and then using Gulen.

It doesnt matter if its true or not, only that it gives him a good narrative to rile up his supporters.

We are talking about fast moving events here.
