The States are awesome. My views might be biased though. Stayed in a super wealthy area and the school was also pretty "white". Was told that this is not always the case by far.
Still. I liked that everyone, even the biggest nut case, can voice his opinion. I enjoyed your freedom fries, your sports events and that everyone was super friendly and kind to me. But that again might have been because I'm from Germany.

Also I met some American students. They were super surprised that I spoke three language fluent. (I also speak French because I lived there for a couple of weeks).
They told me that they tried to learn Italian in college but the lecture was always on a Friday at 8 in the morning and they just could not get up this early on a Friday.
