He is a bit narcissistic, I grant you, but from what I have seen, all of his predictions and theories on Trump have been correct thus far. Admit it, anon, if you were right about nearly everything you said for the past year, you would be a bit full of yourself as well.
As far as him "losing it," people have been doubting Trump and his supporters since the election began last year. Every time Trump does something questionable in even the slightest sense, hundreds of people gear up to jump ship. However, despite their continued lack of faith, they continue to be proven wrong on nearly every point, driving them right back into Trump's warm, nationalistic embrace.

Pence is a solid choice. Sorry that your fantasy ticket didn't come true. Trump made a mundane choice that will allow him to tap into the down-syndrome-tier religious right demographics - the republican version of welfare slaves. If he didn't capture this demographic, he wouldn't get the turnout needed to compete in various key states.
