I had anxiety as a teen as well, and I'm certain almost everyone knows that feeling, but just think of it as everyone has anxiety, and with that common ground if you try hard then you're one step above everyone else. Also placing yourself into stressful situations helps, a lot. My first job as a freshman in college was as a waiter at a busy restaurant and initially I was terrible with socializing but that job, even with ample pay, helped develop me as a person which in turn made it easier to socialize and being networking to find better careers.
I know almost everyone gives the advice to not be afraid of what other people think of you or assume about you, and of course that's fucking hard as shit, but it doesn't hurt to try.

The fact it requires me with a physics degree 4 years more experience than someone with an engineering degree to get a PE is retarded, and only serves to keep the barrier to entry artificially high and stems innovation tremendously. There's more examples of licenses required in manual labor that I could write down too. These things kill the ability to make your own business and kill the [insert country name here] dream. It's a bunch of crony capitalism that pol never talks about, because they have no clue about.
And that's not the WORST thing about it. We're coming upon an era where there are extreme diminishing returns in science which would eventually destroy the dream of becoming rich and class mobility. Look at any areas of research subsection on a university website; there's hardly anything that's going to be ground breaking coming out. The last frontier is biology and medicine, and advances in those would ironically only exacerbate the problem. Not that innovation in their fields would be unwelcomed.

Blue collar work is a lot more satisfying, and you feel more purpose. There's a reason some old people working in factories don't want to retire and get to work on time, work hard all day, and go home to stressless relaxation and self-improvement (exercise, campingetc) when they're done. They would obviously like a little bit more money, but in reality don't strongly desire millions because they don't need it to fulfill the majority of their wants and needs, and because hard work with tangible results is enough satiation for them.
There should be more people like this, they are the backbone of most country's, Australia currently has a shortage of tradies (builders, mechanics, plumbers, electricians etc), and as a result a lot of work being done isn't as good as it could be, blue collar work requires more sacrifice, but is more important for the country as a whole.

I did it for backup and because I'm interested in the subject in abstract, and have great respect for it.
I also took lit and language because I thought they were going to teach me something useful about writing, which they didn't. I should have really dropped one of them.
I don't make money of it yet no, I've got one thing with a 12 page synopsis which I'm working on the characters for.
And I've got two other things with a couple of pages of notes for.
I'll see how it goes. If it fails I'll do something else and know that I tried and didn't wreck myself financially in process, kek.

Because you wouldn't know there's a problem if you hadn't tried coming up with ideas and starting a business yourself. Without PhD level education you'd shrug off any old business ideas you had as "I didn't know enough, and that's why that idea was taken/not good." Okay maybe I was exaggerating a bit when I said PhD, but it's not far off in that that's what it takes nowadays to patent anything new. Any other business anybody could easily copy you. Not saying those businesses are unhelpful, it's just generally they're probably already handled by big corporations well enough. Pol never talks about this stuff.
Don't get me wrong, anybody can talk about degeneracy. The NEET issue has to do with jobs though.
