The fairy tale of Aladdin and the Magical Lamp has in the the very first sentence is "Aladdin was a young Chinese boy". It's told from the perspective of a Jewish Syrian salesman possibly set in Turkmenistan.
The other is based off a Pakistani ruler named Alauddin Khilji. But there's no magic nor anything resembling the story, but it's where the Arabian setting is usually derived from (even though it's still no where near the Arab Peninsula)
