I've been studying the concept of meme magic for the last few months and I've determined that it works basically the same way Chaos energy works in the Warhammer universe. Basically, I theorize that there is another dimension adjacent but separate to reality that is full of meme energy. This dimension is made up of the "energy" of human memes and thoughts. If enough people meme and believe hard enough that meme becomes a reality in this parallel dimension. Mostly this meme dimension keeps to itself, but when there is enough meme energy concentrated in one meme it can break through into reality. So because enough people have been thinking and memeing about happenings, more happenings are occurring. It is even possible for meme energy to coalesce and form a sentient being, and just like we can manipulate the physical world, these meme entities can manipulate the meme energy making up their universe. This is how the Meme God, Kek came to be, and since we meme that he causes happenings and he is made in a universe controlled by human memes, he causes more happenings. When a group like /pol/ memes about something hard enough, for example to get Trump the nomination, we are manipulating this meme energy to cause changes in reality - this is "meme magic". The problem is that this is totally decentralized and therefore, since people can't agree 100% on anything, inherently unstable and uncontrollable by humans. However, sufficiently powerful meme entities can control this dimension to a high degree, thus our only hope to control this is to gain Kek's favor so he grants us the reality we meme about.

Yes, this is correct, but it's not just limited to Orks. All sentient beings in the Warhammer Fantasy/40k work like this. You just don't see it in humans much because most of them don't even know Chaos exists (Though "most" in the Imperium mean that there are still trillions that do know about Chaos) and the emperor pretty much forbade humans from believing in anything that wasn't reality. Also they've only been worshiping him as a God for probably <8000 years. For example psycers can only use psychic powers because they believe they can, how powerful they are is only limited by their natural ability to manipulate the Warp or help from a Chaos entity. This idea is still present in 40k, but to be fair is a lot more underplayed than it is in fantasy. So yes Orks so work that way, but using Meme magic doesn't necessarily make us Orks, it just makes us sentient beings.
