It's a bigger scale so we don't have to bother with decimals. Celsius is technically more precise than Fahrenheit when using decimals but the difference between 70F and 69F is way less arbitrary than 21.1C and 20.6C.
The difference between 70F and 80F is abundantly clear but 21.1C and 26.6C looks so arbitrary. When it gets to 90F or 100F we know it's going to be hot as shit, breaking 30C isn't bad at all but make it 37.7C and now it's unbearable.
