At first I thought the coup was a globalist back attempt to grab Turkey.
If this were true though, they would have easily won, beucase it would have been planned long before, and would have been supported and orchestrated in a very professional way by the US.
This brings me to the idea that it has indeed been a totally seperate, strictly Turkish secular attempt.
Why does the US and the West stand with Erdogan, and call him democratic and so on, when Assad is slandered as a dictator and enemy of the local populus?
They could have easily slandered Erdogan as a dictator and helped the secularist forces.
Only logical answer is that Erdogan is an ally to the globalists.
Probably helps them out internationally (think Syria, and also the "refugee crisis") and in change he can keep his own fort, Turkey.

This is a very good point. Islamic nations are obviously more autocratic in nature, which permits more widespread corruption and nepotism than democratic ones; ergo they are more subject to pervasive US influence.
