Well, this ain't multiculturalism, this is same old Christian melting pot like in USA for hundreds of years. Why would we want assimilation? We want multiculturalism, where Muslims stay the fuck out of people's business that aren't Muslims. Why would you want assimilation, this is assimilation, you have Muslims in same country as white and Christians.
