I did a critical thinking module at uni, thought it would be puzzles or problem solving maybe, something that would be good to improve on. Turns out to be debating, or rather watching debates and writing them up.
One week we got a debate about immigration and whether it should be limited. There was only one speaker, pro-immigrants. There was meant to be an opposition speaker but he was UKIP member that got done for sex crimes, can't remember the exavt details but he couldn't turn up cause he was in trouble.
The speaker shows all his points, a few decent ones. I was more pro immigration cause Germany wasn't being destroyed then.
However, the cunt brought up that the way soceity treats Muslims is what caused the Paris Attacks. I try and be diplomatic, when questions come round I ask

Also had a go for being offensive when I called the Paris attackers a pair of nutters. They were apparently "disadvantaged and mistreated, calling them nutters is insulting."
