Just think how valuable a genius would be in terms of resources. Yet, society makes no effort to reach these people. Instead geniuses have to prove themselves. They have to do well in school, get a job, and maybe someday be recognized for something.

Well apparently, according to a professional IQ test from a mental institution (they literally had me do the test to determine whether I am insane or just a genius lol) I am a genius. The point I'm making with this story is this:
Success is defined by the individual.
If you can't understand the premise I wrote that statement on don't worry.. I will expand on it for you.
You can say that society doesn't let you be successful, but I would argue it is not society that is keeping you down. It is yourself. If the smartest man in the world describes success as teaching children and meditating what does that make your aspirations? I would argue you are naive for defining your life by using less intelligent people as your example.
If you want to live your life for the things you want instead of for the person you are then eventually the realities of your world will catch up to you.
I would argue it is only the smartest people that are contented with ordinary lives. It allows more time to process ideas and think. After all.. what is the most valuable commodity?
