I love how it always comes down to this, as if spices and multicoloured peppers are what culture is. Although if they did know anything about different european cultures they would know a lot of Venetian food actually uses spices like cinnamon, corriander and ginger among others since Venetian sailors were among the first europeans to go to places like north africa, the middle east and asia where these spices originate.

The term "cracker" is an old term which originally meant a braggart. It was used this way in a Shakespeare play.
Somehow it went from being a term about a person who lies/brags to being a racial slur against white people.
