You are best researching the history of the word racism.
There are plenty of books commenting on the structure used to stem freedom of speech through alienation and condemnation, many based in the USSR.
Unfortunately published literature on the specific subject is difficult to come by. Primarily due to the reasons mentioned previously.
The general /pol/ literature threads are usually quite well put together, plenty of books that comment directly or subtlety on social structuring and control.
Don't be afraid of societal labels. Instead use it to understand why it exists.
Approach every subject with an open mind. Analyse both argument's. Use experience, knowledge and understanding to conclude.
There is a reason many here arrive at the same conclusion. Because as they say jokingly, it is a rabbit hole of sorts.
These subjects are socially constructed IED's. You find the explosive subject, you pull and see how many secondary devices are revealed.

It is a somewhat uncomfortable situation to be in.
The vast majority of people are not aware of anything outside of their narrow view point, which has been dictated to them since birth.
When I started at university I had little interest in politics, but I had started to follow current events.
Things escalated from there really. Luckily I had the opportunity to visit Africa and live locally for a few weeks, which was a real eye opener.
Then I started researching things mentioned here in further depth, to get perspective.
Luckily I did have a couple of lecturers that were not the typical liberal left wingers as well, however I failed to see their value until I had left.
Once the seed is planted, some people cannot stop looking. While others give in to dissonance and conformity immediately for comfort and perhaps sanity.
