Funny thing is they can trump up any charges involving taking your computer for evidence then they can actually put CP directly onto it and claim it in court. Adds even more 'credibility' as they supposedly just stumbled onto it.

pedo here, i don't possess cp and i don't advocate for it, but i do find the legal aspects interesting.
yes, obviously it's a powerful tool for character assassination, but cp itself, in most places including most of the us, isn't useful for putting people away. just concerning cp, a lot of people get off on parole, or serve 1-2 years. what puts people away are aggravating factors like additional charges of inciting minors and shit. its almost certainly routine protocol to grill suspects to 'admit' to as much allegations as they can. it's incredibly easy to totally fabricate molestation charges because it's such an embarrassing and humiliating situation that a lot of defendants just don't give up a fight because they just want it to be over, and they fear fighting would just make it worse.
so concerning this, i think it's really way more probable that he did have cp, and that the additional charges are probably what are blown out of proportion. i don't think normalfags realize just how many people out there have cp, it's not just a pedo thing. and of course, children are everywhere, it's almost a given that someone with cp might have been around a child at some point, allowing police to say "ahh you touched that kid didn't you! just admit it and go easy on yourself!"
i'm not saying planting cp or w/e is something that doesn't happen, im just saying it's just as easy to indict someone on way more serious charges that will get them put away fro way longer.
