In hindsight, how do you feel about his presidency?
>>
>>80891063
People get the leaders they deserve
>>
>>80891063
Killed a bunch of people both within and without the country.
>>
>>80891063
He was shit tier and destabilized the order in the Middle East that we had spent so long arranging. On a positive note he did love this country unlike the porch monkey in office now.
>>
Would gladly have taken 8 more years of him over King Nigger. BLM wouldn't even exist.
>>
>>80891063

The problems we are reaping now were sown by him (and his dad)

Fuck Bush
>>
>>80891246
I wouldn't say any country deserves a leader who fucks pigs, but alright
>>
>>80891063
I can't quite say, but anything would be better than King Nigger.
>>
ITT obama voters
>>
>>80891569
I can proudly say I never voted for that nigger. Last good president we had was Reagan.
>>
>>80891063

One of the best presidents ever. Wholesome guy who stood up against degeneracy at home and abroad.
>>
>>80891063
King Nigger 1.0
>>
>>80891063
Iraq war was stupid and pointless, and did nothing to stop illegal immigration. It my opinion that he's a closeted liberal. His dad wasn't that great either, raising taxes and banning guns. Both bushes, Clintons, and Obama suck.
>>
>>80891755
Lol wat? In a lot of ways he is responsible for a lot of the degeneracy that is happening now.
>>
>>80891472
If only there was an aids infested pedophile and a nigger we could have elected during their 14 year dominance. I bet the problems would have been fixed.
>>
Probably a nice guy, but let his cabinet walk all over him and advance their own agendas. Presidency was a clusterfuck and let huge amounts of unrest and discontent fester. Not much better than Obongo. Would have been good in a more peaceful era.
>>
>>80892948
My family knew him irl and said he was cool. They even got to go to the White House to meet with him.
>>
Iraq was a mistake. I believe he and Obama's efforts in the middle east led to the rise of ISIS.
>>

>>
>>80892089
His father was worse, just didn't have enough time to show his power level.

That being said, Bush Jr. is quite something. Did he do any good to America and americans ? (other than make half the world hate muricans)
>>
Iraq war was a big fat mistake.
>>
>>80893236
Yup, this. If we had never invaded Iraq and instead annihilated the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan, we'd have saved millions of lives. Instead we took out Saddam Hussein because Bush wanted to outdo his daddy.
>>
>>80893473
We fought the wrong kind of war in Afganhistan. We could have wiped out those mountainniggers in the first year but I personally believe the war is kept going to produce revenue for the defense industry.

He didn't do it just to outdo his daddy. Mitterrand was already talking about killing Gadhafi and Saddam back in the nineties with Bush Sr.

They were enemies of the West and had to be eliminated for refusing to cooperate. Simple as that.
>>
>>80893666

His domestic policy was better than Obama's only because he didn't pander to niggers.

His foreign policy was shit. He probably destabilized the middle east for decades. Obama, to his credit, hasn't dragged us into Syria.

Basically, Bush Jr was shit.
>>
Mediocre, but did what he could and isn't an inherently terrible person.

He wasn't exactly the brightest, but he was very headstrong. Sadly, during his last years, he relied on Cheney far too much and Cheney was/is a monster.

Overall, a solid 6/10. Not terrible, but not amazing either. Not bad, but not good. Just enough to keep America strong and afloat.
>>
>>80893640
Why wipe them out? They, and the Taliban, did nothing. Should have bombed Riyadh to dust and put every prince of the House of Saud to the rope instead. It's fucking retarded to try to spread democracy with the sword anyway. Doesn't matter what kind of war could have been fought or what the stated casus belli is, it was a war we shouldn't have fought it.
>>
>>80893843
They were. It's not because the situation was badly dealt with that it was fine in the first place.
Saddam wanted to expand Iraq, he was a proud nationalist. Everything the West didn't want.

As for Gadhafi, he was teasing the US with petrodollars, and also financed terrorist attacks in Europe in the nineties.
>>
>>80894235
I see your point. We should have been in and out within a year without any nation building. The CIA wanted to control the opium production though and they got their wish.
>>
>>80891063
Rumsfeld and Cheney gave him bad advice and he was too trusting to questing it.
>>
>>80891063
Good president, despicable cabinet.
>>
>>80894240
Yes but we had the ability to keep them in check. Just like the first gulf war did. I'm not defending them though, they were both awful people.
>>
A bit of a bumbling buffoon, but still better than Obama. At least he tried fighting for his country rather than fighting against it.
>>
>>80894437
Hard to dispute advice from a guy who might """"""accidentally"""""" shoot you in the face.
>>
>>80891063

McCain should have gotten the nomination back in 2000. The world would be a much better place for it.
>>
>>80894240
They got up to some mischief, no one disputes that. But most of their power was used to keep their mudshits docile. With no strongman to chop up a few hundred sandniggers every few weeks, now we are getting even more wars, more terrorist attacks, and more oil shocks.
>>

Only worse president is Obama. Ignorance is no excuse, Bush was a clueless inheritor led around by unelected corporate bureaucrats.

Its actually incredible when you realize Reagan was pretty much Trump. They threw a huge shit fit about him and closing the border. Then they got CIA Bush in there to subvert. Since then our democracy has been a major lie.

>>
>>80893870

true of course, but Syria is partially Obama's fault as well, because he did nothing while the Gulf States, Turkey etc. fed the rebellion and directly funded ISIS and Al Qaeda. A responsible leader would have detected that support and put an end to it immediately, and probably bombed the shit out of those groups like Putin is doing and we've finally started to do.
>>
>>80896158
The dictators that were there kept them under control. Things weren't the best there but it was certainly better than it is now.
>>
We were able to bomb muslims for like 8 years without having a refugee crisis, I'd say he was pretty efficient.

Yes over the millenia the middle east has been unstable but before removing Saddam it was mostly stable. He could of however stabilized it post Saddam.

>First he should have recognized Petraeus Plan which was stop giving Israel the benefit every time.

>Second he shouldn't have put Maliki in power who from day one was an Iranian puppet.

>THird he should have told america it was a war of conquest and for resources. He should have said we are going there to fuck shit up and anyone who stands in our way is an enemy.

>>
Generally incompetent / possibly well meaning, but had very ambitious people trying to guide him and pull his strings.
>>
>>80891347
I disagree. He put Saddam out of power before he could start a dangerous nuclear arms race. Also, don't forget that the security structure of the world was pretty much intact, almost no terror attacks in the West.

Shit got ugly when Obongo and Clinton took office.
>>
I didn't like him when he was in office, but now I'm not even mad. I'd take W over either of the two candidates running today.
>>
>>80896796
Yeah but he could have went for gulf war round 2 to keep saddam in check. Removing him led to the displacement of his soldiers that later went on to form ISIS. It doesn't help that Obama seized that opportunity and supports ISIS so he can oust Assad.

>>

Did Carter promote Houses For Minorities right before the housing bubble that required unprecedented bailouts from both Bush and Obama? No Child Left Behind? Did Carter "lose" billions worth of gold bars in the middle east? Start the US on the path to creating ISIS which is basically as bad as a liberal's idea of nazi germany?
>>
>>80891063

George Bush was one of the worst presidents we've ever had and his presidency was at one of the most critical junctures in our nations history.

His reaction to 9/11 (war in Afghanistan, push for war in Iraq) is a mess that we continue to have to clean up and will do so for decades, to say nothing of the 10+ years of actual war that accomplished nothing and wasted so many American lives.

Even when the wars are finally over, we may never recover from his other actions. He aggressively expanded Presidential power which hasn't been recinded and has again been expanded by Obama.

He dramatically increased the amount of permissible government surveillance and laid foundations for how the government could acceptably act on the internet which was still in its formative years all throughout his presidency.

Rather than having serious debate about electronic surveilance, the 1st/4th amendments, and the internet, he played the terrorism card at every opportunity and used it to trample principled opposition to out of control spying by the NSA, the CIA, and the FBI.

He oversaw the creation of the TSA, a worthless circus that insults and oppresses anyone that travels by air, all while sucking up billions in bloated budgets.

There wasn't anything that Bush did right other than throwing out a decent first pitch at a Yankees game. He was a moron of the highest degree and was mostly effective cover for a bunch of fucking PNAC kikes to implement their facist agenda.

>>
>>80897014
They had no realistic plan for the new Iraq, that was a mistake but it was also the fault of the new iraqi government / Shiites who wanted revenge.
ISIS was called AQI at that time and Bush payed several Sunni tribes to kick their asses. The problem was that Obongo stopped paying them and moved the troops out = ISIS emrged

My theory on Iraq:

We didn't really know whether Saddam had nukes or not.

However sanctions were eroding and it was only a matter of time before he might get them.

He acted like a lunatic, whether he was or not.

Nukes in Iraq threatened not just Israel, but the global oil supply (45 seconds from launch to wipe out all major Persian Gulf production)

Therefore the US Military would have to switch policy towards Iraq to a shoot-first stance. Potentially even first strike.

This was unacceptable and the better course was to invade and depose Saddam.

Having too few troops for the occupation, disbanding the Iraqi army, going for some bullshit democracy instead of installing our own strongman -- all of that, I blame Bush for.

That's something I've always said too. And trust man, I really did actually vote for him twice, and defended him hundreds of times from the asshole libtards. He knew. I don't cry about anything, but 9/11 gave me PTSD, or some shit. Kids these days act like it was nothing, it was not nothing. Seeing my people jump from great heights to try to escape the heat of the fire scarred me. I know most people in this country are assholes. But they're still my countrymen, and I don't like to see bad shit happen to them. And then I read that it was all convoluted purposefully by the US government to play into the kikes hand, pisses me off to no end. He knew. He had to know. He was the fucking POTUS FFS. Saddam Hussein was completely impossible to "contain". He was a mad dog and had to be put down sooner rather than later. Dubya's daddy failed to finish the job in Iraq war #1.

You should read "The Bomb in my Garden". It shows very clearly that Hussein wanted to pursue nuclear arms, even if he didn't have working centrifuges at the time.
