Graduate courses should be alright. I live with Masters/PhD students and they're generally quite okay, although your mileage may vary.
Unfortunately, I'm also in the department of humanities / faculty of arts, and... yeah. You can guess what it's like. Protests every so often, professors on strike too. At least a few of the professors I've worked with in some capacity aren't balls-to-the-walls batshit crazy communists, though, and thank goodness for that. I think it's more a problem with the social sciences / humanities departments in Warwick, really. Medicine / Mathematics / Engineering seems to be much less retarded.

None really, some are just more obvious with their bias than others. Guardian is ok if you stay out of the opinion columns, Times is ok as well and generally has more of a mixed opinion than Guardian. FT and Economist are alright for looking at the economic side of things.
It's best to just look at stories from a variety of sources. I follow foreign elections a lot and I tend to stick with the Guardian for UK based coverage and then pick 2 or 3 national newspapers from the country I'm looking at and read their take on things

I'd stay the hell away from Grauniad, personally. I like FT a lot, although they did throw up the whole "muh economy" thing for the entirety of the period running up until (and even after) Brexit. Don't really like Economist, it reeks of economic libertarianism alongside progressive-leaning opinions. They also tend to be very prescriptive in what they right (i.e. If you do X as we describe in this article everything will be fine and dandy).
Can't say much about the Times, haven't picked it up ever. I do pick up the INYT from time to time, though. On rare occasions, they prove that they are indeed capable of independent thought that isn't filled with leftist drivel.

Meanwhile... in Sweden...
If anyone is doomed, it's Sweden. Sorry Sven lad.

She was a Eurosceptic, but chose Remain for solidarity in the event Remain inevitably won.
She had no idea Leave would win.

Quite frankly we didn't know her- nobody did. Her Home Office rarely ever leaked, she didn't really campaign on anything but the manifesto, etc.
It seem's she was more right wing then anyone suspected.
>>80891938
Farage is basically a non-entity, but he wanted someone who campaigned for Brexit. He kinda had to as head of UKIP
>>80892002
I suppose, but she's going full Brexit with ruthless efficiency
>>80892057
This makes the most sense.

Thanks. Planning on joining the army as a medical officer. They pay the uni fees and have higher pay.
But after 8 years of that I'd be hoping there's an NHS to return to.

Hey there, everyone. Swedish comment police here. Despite this being obvious, it's still my job to let you know this person is an idiot, and part of the reason we Swedes are in the situation we're currently in.
Have a good day.

My entire opinion of her was based on the Snooper's Charter.
Her cabinet choices seem decent so far.
>spent years building up to the 2015 general election, the fight between who would be PM, Cameron or Miliband, dominated political drama
>fast forward a little over one year

>only one left is Nicola Sturgeon

I honestly can't remember, there's a lot of them though, I think about 20 or so, maybe more. They're a pretty nice visual summary of how shit the Lib Dems are

>he visits workers at their working places he must be a pleb
>plebs are stupid and worthless
that's one of the many reasons the left has lost
it has turned away from the reality of the working class and instead sunbathes in the self-projected glory of upper class intellectualism and self affirmation

What? How do you figure this?
Was Boris originally a plant to make Brexit look bad, as he was Bremain a few months ago? Is that plausible?
Either way, him and Cam would be able to make a decent go of leaving the EU - after all, they have definite advantages for themselves if out, like cutting benefits to the scroungers that paid tax for thirty years before their car crash with less of an EU influence to prevent it
Reminder tho - we'll still be in the EU court of human rights jurisdiction, imo the only good thing from the EU, but that's just me.
