Today, the law to ban any semi automatic firearm that accepts mags with more than 20 shots has passed with 27 votes in favor and 10 against.

The gun culture and gun ownership of Europe is now finally dead and buried. The EU bureocrats have managed to destroy civilian gun ownership while pretending that it will protect us.

HOW WILL WE, EUROPOORS, FIGHT WHEN NEEDED?
Everyone here can feel it, the tensions in the western world: the failing of Deutche bank, the immigrant crisis and the rape/crime/terrorism as result and the rising tensions between 'far-'right and far left

I was planning on getting a sport shooters license so i could own a firearm, but what now? How can one protect himself, his family and his property in the EUSSR?

The problem with "Mass Shootings" here in the USA is that Mass Shooting is not a legally defined term.

The media here will report an instance in which only two or three people are shot (and don't even die) as a "mass shooting."

Ouch.

Honestly bro I don't live in CA, or have any intention to, and your states specific gun laws are absolutely alien to me.

I would recommend you learn your states laws before you buy, easiest way to do that is walk into your local gun store and ask what exactly you need to do to purchase a gun you'd like.

Gun laws in Cali are getting worse fast.

The AR alone provably cost me around 850-950 bucks, the ACOG another 1100.

You don't need to spend anywhere near that.

In Commiefornia I'd look at something like the Ares SCR or Kel Tech RDB-C.

You'd need a new barrel or cut it down if you have the tools and the bar is usually attached to the handle but I saw some older pistols once where it was attached to the mag, So yeah you could do with a bit of work. Honestly I need a rifle more than a pistol right now, still undecided on the Lee Enfield though.

Look for the cheats. There are AR15 rifles converted to straight pull. You don't have mag limits or feature bans in the U.K., so you can own an AR built without a gas system that has a manually operated bolt.

There are also Mini 14s built for the U.K. market as straight pull rifles.

I don't understand why everyone feels the need to get an AR15 of all guns.

They're not that good. They shit where they eat, the ergonomics and controls suck, and thanks to rails being on fucking everything, it's not like the aftermarket ONLY applies to them anymore.

There's plenty of ~Assault Weapon~ style firearms that are specifically made to satisfy civilian markets in various countries where one or more features of the AR15 may be banned; why not get one of those?

Well the TL:DR is,

5.56 is a .22 Projectile.

That means its small.

In order for it to do lots of damage to a target, it has to either fragment or expand.

M193(55g FMJ) moves fast enough to do this, and is primarily lead, so it breaks apart on contact with (You).

M855 is heavier, and therefore slower, and is not all lead cored, it uses a SOFT steel core.

What this does is forces the bullet to stay intact when moving through (You), which is not what you want if you are looking to kill something, because it would just make a tiny, .22 caliber hole.

M855 is also a 3MOA round. As opposed to M193 being a 1.5-2MOA round.

M855 is also actually WORSE at pennetrating steel targets than M193 because again, it is slower, and uses SOFT steel in its core.

OTMs are bullets with Open Tips.

Some of these are constructed in a way that allows for the bullet to Easily break apart upon contact with (You). And the process of jacket drawing an OTM bullet is more precise than FMJ rounds, leading to increased accuracy.
>>
>>80894217
M193 sucks if you have to shoot through anything thicker than paper though due to the light weight and high speed.

M855 will punch through everything you come in contact with, even thin concrete barriers. Only downside is overpenetration

A nutter with an automatic weapon is almost always more dangerous and will leave a higher body count than a nutter with a bomb for several reasons:

>making an effective bomb is really difficult: you have to get the proportions and mix just right, get the right container (because shrapnel is what does most of the killing), and if you do it just slightly wrong it might not explode properly, or at all, or even blow up in your face as you're making it
>even if you manage to hit a nice, dense area of people with your bomb the people closest to it will absorb most of the damage, they will die but most potential victims will be shielded from the blast (unless it's a big bomb, but those are even more difficult than 'normal' bombs)
>meanwhile literally anyone can use an automatic weapon
>in the same dense area the gun will be able to keep on firing and hit many, many more people than the bomb (and if the gunner bothered to practise beforehand he can still get them as they're running away)
>the gun can keep firing and keep killing as long as the gunner is carrying spare ammo, and multiple guns can be carried at once because they're not that big, while the bomb is one and done
>it's much easier to get an assault rifle and a bunch of spare mags than bomb-making supplies, too, and if you're in the US it can be done completely legally!

If the perpetrators of the Paris attacks and the Orlando night club shooting had decided to use bombs instead of guns I guarantee you they would have killed nowhere near as many people. Luckily most of the nutters that would do something like that to begin with are stuck on 'bombs > guns' and end up getting caught before they even do anything because sales of that stuff are very tightly monitored.

Uh. No

M193 has better pennetration performance than M855 at almost all ranges.

I know its hard to digest but the military was using one of the biggest scams ever for 30+ years.

The Army and Marines have since replaced M855 with M855A1, which uses an actual hard steel pennetrator, and Mk318, which is a neat OTM load.

They were also using Mk262 because of M193s abysmal performance.

There could be billions of those guns, it doesn't matter, as they are all registered. The police will look at their list, send letters to gun owners and the vast majority of them will willingly surrender their guns without any resistance. Those who will resist will be arrested by the police in a spectacular way to set an example, and will be portrayed in the media as the reason why those guns need to be banned.
