Wal Mart is the perfect embodiment of the disaster of government programs. It's a store that subsidizes it's payroll with government entitlement programs so that it can sell garbage goods- that can only exist because of government subsidies and stacked trade deals- to people on government entitlement programs, and does so cheaper than anyone else because of its government subsidized distribution network.
It's the ultimate parasite, and if you want to see what nationalized consumer industries would look like under a socialist United States government, Wal Mart offers a pretty good glimpse.
