All they have to do is drop a few rare pokemon in the location they think you are, and all of the sudden, they will have dozens of cameras searching for you, peeking through your windows, and there's nothing you can do about it. I've seen people on Youtube go into someone's BACKYARD to get one of these things, just imagine 20 people trying to find one.
There's no fucking way I'm going to download that game, but just be aware. This is the next step in the dissolving privacy.

Pokémon do not show up in houses most of the time. Most people aren't interesting enough to have data that matters and programs like this help navigation systems improve for everyone.
Captcha is also collecting data, sure it isn't as personal, but the point of both isnt to build databases on individual people.
Worse case if you are incredibly paranoid, you can create enough false leads about your individual data to make sifting through it more difficult if not impossible.
