It was 89.5% white in 1950's and then in the 60's or so they removed their "european migration first" principle. To include migration from all over. And ofcourse illegal immigration.
Basically 90% white people built the united states till this changed in the 1950's. The notion that it was a melting pot of ethnicities from all over the world evenly distributed is a total lie created by the left to encourage and justify mass immigration from all over the world, including from 3rd world nations, into the US..
it was basically massively majority white with a very few minorites, only recently has this changed. Sorry sweden but that's the historical facts of the matter.
And if you can't see that it's kind of gone down hill after mass non european migration and mass illegal immigration, then you've not been paying attention.

Ironically leftists in sweden (that was like basically 100% white for hundreds upon hundreds of years) for instance, has fallen for the melting pot meme without even questioning it or researching the facts, and started since the 60's 70's promote immigration and multiculti using US as an example for how that it'll work great, not realizing that US was almost entirely european/white pretty much the entire time it has existed. And that the culture values etc. of europeans were what built it and made it great.
It's quite sad really that the leftists can make such a monumental blunder. And now their little multidecade experiment to "improve their nations with diversity" is getting out of hand and having many negative results around europe and in the US..
Perhaps time to stop that mass migration business.. And ask people to fix up their own nations if they don't want to adopt western culture.
