How does a libertarian society deal with secret government agencies?
Do you believe there should exist organizations within the federal government that ought to be secret from its people? What do you think of these agencies not being held accountable by the people?
yeah,, secret agencies are coo man!!
the best is when they kidnap and snuff working people for questioning them!!!

-if you know someone who is addicted to opiates/heroin-
-and you dont persuade them to try/get on methadone-
-and they die because of it-
...then yeah, it kinda is your fault...
methadone saves lives... straight up...
I have had 5 friends die from heroin
and of the 80 ppl i know at my methadone clinic, all of them have been doing fine, for years...

But then how do you deal with spies and other countries' intelligence agencies that operate in the shadows? I think my second question was more broad, not necessarily just libertarians. Do you as a liberal or conservative think agencies should exist thtat the public doesn't know of and can't hold them accountable?

yeah no
start a worthwhile thread then
Considering the geopolitical interests of other countries won't change, a truly "libertarian" country would be extremely vulnerable to invasion and intergroup conflicts enabled by the support of interested parties.
That was part of the argument for ditching the Articles of Confederation, after all

Libertarianism is just such an ideology movement. Russians pour money into these ideologies.
