If God is omnipotent, why did he create Jesus and have him die for our sins, instead of just sending an angel to say he forgave us?
Hell, Gabriel himself had to visit anyways. Could have just passed on Jesus' teachings himself and saved everyone a lot of trouble.

It would be meaningless if there was no real suffering.
>>80682667
God is Jesus.
He lived as a man so he could understand the human condition. He had to prove to himself that we were worth saving.
>>80682667
God would have given us Jesus even if Adam and Eve never fell from Eden, he loves us that much.

this.
also, a sacrifice was needed, that of all mankind. Only a man can die however, yet only a god can die perfectly (i.e. to act as a sacrifice for all men). Thus we needed a messiah.
>>80682971
Why was a sacrifice needed? God can do literally anything. Jesus' time on earth was just pageantry for an end-goal that didn't require it.
>>80682856
God is omniscient. He already knows the human condition, much as he knows all that has passed and all that will ever come to pass. He doesn't need to prove anything to anyone, and he can BLAM anyone that questions him should he so choose.

Jesus was god's way of experiencing mortal life. Feeling empathy for his fallen creations, he willed a path to redemption.

>If God is omnipotent, why did he create Jesus and have him die for our sins, instead of just sending an angel to say he forgave us?
To address the problem of suffering. God is not some force removed from us and our experience and suffering, but rather he elected to come down as one of us and became a part of it.
On the one hand this disarms those who would insist He doesn't understand us or our lot. On the other it enables us to be certain and trust in His goodness, that He wouldn't submit us to anything that He otherwise would not Himself suffer. Additionally, He did it knowing exactly how unjustly we would treat Him, and still insists we are forgiven.

>why did he create Jesus and have him die for our sins
Having the kikes kill jesus was the only way to redpill humanity on heebs, the entire absolution of sins thing was just a way of apologising for sticking us with jews in the first place
>>80682667
A better question is how can there be sin at all? If God doesn't want something how can it be ?
>>80682667
>God hasn't physically reacted with people in eons
>instead communicates with subtle imagery or specific people.
>all because believing in him without proof is a virtue of his
Hmmm.
Because the Christians had to justify the fact that got fucking rekt somehow.

How would humans ever have proof of a higher entity?

Why would God create the world instead of not creating the world?
Why would God do anything at all?

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light

Hello newfriend.

God is omnipotent but he chooses to act through miracles and show himself through the lens of humanity.
