I haven't read up on it fully but it will depend on what is included in the aircraft carrier and if it does go through, it will help Russia develop its only aircraft carrier that is planned to be included in the 2020 state budget.
But India is already courting other offers like the US is ready to offer India EMALS integration on the indigenous built Indian Aircraft carrier. So we'll see. And if past Indian defense procurements are any indication as to how this one will go, it will be very messy and the Indians are going to fuck themselves over in the end. Except in Northern Iraq, but those Kurds are literally Turkish-trained, NATO-backed Kurds, that have an actual state up and running. The ones in Rojava are far more disorganized, but at the same time they are fighting Turks as well as ISIS.
