i've been working since the early 2000s. my private health insurance costs via my employer went up 10-15% consistently year over year throughout bush's administration. one year the increases hit 17 -- SEVENTEEN percent. since ACA was passed % increases have gone to single digits.
this is my own anecdote of course, but the "hurr durr health insurance is too expensive everywhere" argument is ridiculous; it varies widely from place to place (mostly state to state) and a substantial portion of the increases can be attributed to GOP-dominated governors/state legislatures who cockblocked parts of the ACA meant to expand funding for things like medicare/medicaid in their states.

Libtard, let me explain basic economic fundamentals to you. You say debt is good. Small, temporary debt is good because it gives a short term boost for someone to increase their wealth in a hurry. Americans take out loans to buy houses, cars, and such. Those loans are easy to pay back in three to five years for cars and ten to thirty years for houses. For perspective, imagine taking out a loan for 10,000 homes at once. First of all, no bank would approve it because you could never pay that back.
Worse still is the impact all that debt has. Currently, the U.S. has over $19 Trillion in debt. The debt was $10 Trillion the day Obama took office in Jan 2008. The GDP is $15 Trillion. When Obama took office, we were well below a healthy ratio in terms of debt to GDP. The problem with all this added debt is the annual maintenance cost on that debt, which is something that should deeply trouble libtards. The maintenance on that debt costs over one-third of the annual tax revenue. That means over one-third of all the taxes collected by the govt each year cannot be spent on infrastructure of social services. Over one third of all taxes must be spent to pay only the interest on all that debt each year. That is a very serious crisis that should worry all libtards because inevitably their pet welfare projects are going to be cut in order to pay the debt maintenance thanks to the most incompetent president in U.S. history, Barry Soetoro.
