This means 12 years in which there can't be a right wing chancellor.
Even though they are going to re-do the elections, Hofer isn't likely to win anymore. The cuckrage that gave him votes has settled and with the brexit people want a stronger europe.

Look at the voting patterns. Almost all men tend to vote right, or far right. In Austria is is the FPÖ. Given they achieved 50% of votes they got the overwhelming mayority of male votes and some female votes to boot.
The other parties pooled together and managed to tie, they receive votes mostly from migrants and women. Which means that almost every Austrian couple based on statistics, is a male FPÖ voter and a female left voter. Which has some real nasty implications.
