>A BHP Billiton truck driver sacked for suggesting a colleague would “like a good tea-bagging” and ranting over a company radio that Muslims suffered from “1400 years of bloody inbreeding” has won his job back.
>The Fair Work Commission has ruled BHP acted too harshly in dismissing the driver after he made lewd, sexist and bigoted remarks over a radio channel that could be heard by up to 100 employees.
>The remarks included asking a colleague if his “Jatz crackers” had fallen out while at the gym and suggesting another was reading “that book on 50 ways to eat cock”.

When will we Australians learn that using language like this is sexist and bigoted!
>>80583804
Based as fuck.
West Australia, best Australia
>>80583804
This is the worst bait I've seen in a while. Well done I guess.
>mfw your right to banter at work is legally protected in Australia
Americans on suicide watch.
>>80583854
It is actually New South Wales not West Australia for this particular story, but still, pretty humorous non the less.
>>80583854
American equivalent of West Australia?
>>80583804
Shitposting irl.
>>80583965
very resource rich. Perth is the only big city the rest is wilderness.
Alaska?
The federal government unconstitutionally interfering in intrastate industrial disputes despite no such head of power existing, in addition to telling private companies that they can't stop paying people for any reason, is the very definition of degeneracy.
Fuck John Howard and his bullshit centralism. If not for him, the states would still control industrial relations and we wouldn't have commie unfair dismissal federal laws.
>>80584043
Didn't mind Perth for the short stint I did over there, good weather and not to long to get to a decent fishing spot, would have stayed longer if the construction company I was working for had of had another contract over there.
>>80583804
>“Jatz crackers” had fallen out
>>80583960
I saw haul trucks and just assumed the story was in Perth.
>>80583965
Less population, resource rich
Basically anywhere West America.
>>80584359
No probs mate, as much as I like WA we can't let the cunts have all the glory, there are some decent spots in NSW and QLD as well when it comes to coal mines, though they are disappearing pretty quickly unfortunately.
>>80583804
Top bantz
>>80583804
what a lad
>>80583804
they will learn to not hurt feelings
and respect safe spaces
>once you give them a blowjob, and explanation
>>80584149
>The federal government
*The courts
Get fucked mongoloid.
>>80584681
No, the fair work commission isn't a court, and even if it was, it is simply interpreting unconstitutional federal government legislation.
The federal government has no role to play in intrastate industrial disputes under our constitution.
Just a bit of banter m8
>>80584803
>No, the fair work commission isn't a court
It's acting as a court in this situation - or, at least, as part of the judicature. i.e. it's interpreting law.
>it is simply interpreting unconstitutional federal government legislation
Then lodge a High Court challenge, senpai.
i want to hear iut so bad.
i read it with an aussie accent
>1400 years of bloody inbreeding
never change.
>>80584950
You can't "act as a court" without being a court, that's not how Australia works. The FWC is not a chapter 3 institution.
>Then lodge a High Court challenge, senpai.
I don't have standing. However, if I do one day have standing, I will. NSW vs Commonwealth was a tragic decision that should be overturned.
>>80585077
>You can't "act as a court" without being a court
The FWC is fulfilling the same function as a court i.e. interpreting law.
>>80585077
>I don't have standing.
Have a chat to BHP, tell them you'll be happy to represent them in an appeal to the High Court. If your case is as clear cut, obvious, and watertight as you seem to believe it is you shouldn't have a problem.
Right?
>>80583804
Australia yes
>trying to punish aus truckers for bantz
It can't be done.
> asking a colleague if his “Jatz crackers” had fallen out while at the gym
I had to look this one up, and I wasn't disappointed.
>>80585151
Commonwealth judicial power can't be vested in anything but a chapter 3 court, of which the FWC is not.
BHP won't win a challenge for various reasons. What needs to happen is a state government needs to challenge the law again.
Longer term, state premiers need to appoint high court justices, not the prime minister. This will stop the centralising trend the high court has taken.
All citizens have standing to bring a constitutional law related challenge. File that application and try. Enjoy bankruptcy.

>>The remarks included asking a colleague if his “Jatz crackers” had fallen out while at the gym and suggesting another was reading “that book on 50 ways to eat cock”.
That would make my day on a shitty monday. I love straya
>>80583804
>suggesting another was reading “that book on 50 ways to eat cock”.
I kekked. Absolute mad man!
>>80583804
What a funny cunt. What kind of faggot who works for a mining company gets triggered by any of those bantz?
>>80589287
The amount of women who work on minesites is pretty high now, they will complain over the smallest thing if given the opportunity or if they think it will get them up the corporate ladder.
>Australian shitposting on a radio channel
>>80587472
No, they don't.
>>80583804
TOP FUCKING KEK ASIAN SCUM
>>80589354
It's the same here, affirmative action is killing fields like construction, mining, and forestry.
Men still do all the work, it's just completely miserable now because you're forced to tuck your tail between your legs.
>>80583903
>bait
Has newfaggotry gone too far?
