Lib arts class of 95 here. Work in big media. Regret it daily but I'm too dumb to be an engineer. Would suggest nevrr working in entertainment.

Liberals tend to not do too well in the real world. Those that venture off from the universities become employees at state agencies that are bureaucratic in nature or they end up at places like Starbucks or Barnes & Noble; some may make it to management.

I wouldn't retire until the kids graduated high school at least, though.
Probably became architects if it were in the 80's. Others just had a fancy degree that actually looked good on a resume, just because it was a degree and still had a form of prestige, but they took irrelevant career paths. The rest just went back to school to probably be a nurse.

Take a 6 month holiday to somewhere like Cambodia and volunteer for some of the agencies out there. It's a good way to get experience in a bunch of stuff. Be prepared to fly by the seat of your pants though
