I had this idea that everybody could get a "life number", like if 75 is the average life expectancy then that's their number. Every time someone commits a crime, in addition to doing jail or prison time, some amount of time is shaved off their life number on their criminal record. If their age intersects with this life number and they commit another crime then they are executed. If they pass this number and they don't commit another crime then nothing happens.
