At what point does an object become a chair?
How do you define "chair"?
What is the nature of the relationship between man and "chair"?
What are the implications of an inanimate object supporting you while exerting no force of it's own?
How can tables even compete?
Honorary chairyans.
Wow really makes you think

So typically you'd have at most one chair in the house as a peasant, and so the head of the house would get to sit on the chair while everybody else had to squat or whatever else. Thus, the chair became to be a symbol of power and authority. That's why powerful people sit in fancy chairs, be they rococo chairs, or Italian leather chairs, captain's chairs in your car, or designer chairs for your office job.
That doesn't mean they're healthy to sit on. But that's why we have words like "chairman."

Not all chairs are created equally. Your question is far too broad to have a good answer.
Some, like yours is shit-tier.
>Pic related, god-tier chair.
