No it isn't. The problems with the G11 were almost entirely related to it's ammunition and the majority of them were solved or highly mitigated by the later stages of testing.
why are people constantly making fun of the wiesel? it's specifically designed to be lightweight and fast moving in worst terrains. it has a gun and carry many people for its size.
