How does /pol/ get its news online? Are there any feed aggregators that you use to get everything from every source on one page?
What online news sources are acceptable?
Should there be a general dedicated to people maintaining their news feeds and sharing sources and RSS feeds to sources? It seems like two thirds of the people on here are constantly confused or misinformed when news breaks, we should encourage people on here to be on alert with dozens of news sources open in another tab at all times.
Have a bump, I want to know what people here use.
By reading a lot of different sources and coming to my own conclusions
I get all my news from my Facebook feed.
Generals are cancer, but to answer your question I go to pol every day and watch ramzpaul, bill whittle, and Stefan Molyneux on YouTube, and I see things oj facebook and twitter.. I'm usually well informed.

but what sources?
A combination of Buzzfeed, Huffpo, and Politico with special attention paid to the Washington Post.
Infowars
I'm really interested in getting more news from foreign countries. It's actually very difficult to find comprehensive coverage of even European countries in English and American news coverage of foreign countries is either dogshit or nonexistant. Do any foreign anons have English news sources from their country they'd like to share

Drudge and prisonplanet, basically.
I used to surf the shill sites occasionally to see what they were feeding the sheep, but it makes me depressed/enraged to the point where I solely rely on alt-media.

Hi, I'm a news scanner form a general in here - I use google news set with the latest to see whats going on around the world, also there are sites like this one
http://www.breakingnews.com/, twitter feeds +dozens other sites that report into what I check
Generally every source needs to be taken into consideration, and there is always more behind just what is reported. For example scanning news for the general I need to filter both the US narrative and the russia narrative, so I check a both ways they present an information and report them accordingly. There isn't simply news, because each of the news poles report them to fit into what they want to present, usa will brainwash people to fit into their perspective while russia will do the same sooo searching for the middle path

Glad you found it helpful! Here have some more
http://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/World+News/Middle+East/Syria
http://spidr.today/
http://syria.trendolizer.com/
try this thing:
Search a term in google and then you will have the menu right under your search term: images maps and then there is News, click news > click search tools> recent> past hour and this way you get the last on a subject.
or go to twitter and write a hashtag. for example lets say some shit happend in italy, you put your hashtag to be italy and watch the feed, or you can add 2-3 hastags for city or key person .. idk what ever you think it's helpful!
Some sites are pre-set for what I was looking for, which is syria and middle east.. news scanner for /sg/ anyway, hope this helps you out.
